Teachers in public elementary schools struggle to teach science consistently while also keeping students engaged, monitoring their progress, and relating content to their lives. Elementary education needs programs with engaging learning experiences, such as simulations, inquiry, and problem solving. Teachers are also in need of support and confidence in their science teaching.
To make this program a reality, we will need two SMEs in NGSS and elementary science strategies as well as three curriculum designers. These can be salaried or contract based. We also need access to video, audio, simulation and AI software, which will cost $500-1,000 per program.
